Elevated Basics

A great outfit isn’t comprised of the most expensive, flashiest, and intricate pieces. And it doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s all about how it’s styled. So, we’ve created 4 examples of simple outfits done right.

  1. Jeans and a White Shirt

Creating an elevated look with a pair of jeans is all about finding the right fit for your body. Flare jeans are great for anyone who wants to elongate their legs and highlight their curves. We’ve styled the Frame Le High Flare jeans with an A.L.C. oversized, cotton shirt. The top has been tucked in to accentuate the waist and we’ve added an off-white strappy heel and an embellished bag. The looser fitting top works particularly well as the extra fabric is balanced by the bottom of the flared jean creating a proportionate and timeless look.

      2. Black Pants

Everyone owns a pair of black pants in their work wardrobe and as simple as they are, they can be unflattering or too harsh. Go for a cropped or ankle length pant and pair it back with an ivory pussy bow silk shirt to lighten up the look, especially near your face and make it more versatile for day to night wear. Of course, add a great bag and your favourite pair of heels.

  1. The Tube Skirt

A classic tube skirt is a staple to have in your wardrobe and while it is a great work piece, it’s also super easy to style for casual day wear. We have styled this Theory ribbed tube skirt with a fitted vest top to create a sleek, casual outfit which hugs all your curves. Pop on a cute leather slide and a cross body bag to tie it together.

  1. Straight Leg Tailored Trousers

A pair of tailored trousers can work for so many different occasions. We’ve styled these Theory ivory pants back with a simple, dusty pink silk blouse for a chic Spring look. The billowy sleeves on the blouse, compliment the fabrication and cut of the pants nicely and we’ve added neutral accessories so that this look doesn’t become too busy.

Love,
